        The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission - APPSC started when Andhra Pradesh state was formed on 1st November 1956. When it was started it was known as Andhra Service Commission which was based on the Madras Public Service Commission. In 1956 Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission was formed by merging Hyderabad Public Service Commission. It makes recruitment for the candidates for various posts under the state government of Andhra Prdesh.

Exam Eligibility:

  • A candidate should be a citizen of India.
  • Degree from any recognized university under central or state government.
  • Group I Minimum Age 18 years and Maximum Age 42 years.
  • SC/ST and BC 5 years Age relaxation.
