        The Goa Public Service Commission - GPSC it is an constitutional body of the Government Of India state of Goa. For selection of officers at state level services by means of examinations for such civil service employees. The Government of Goa is required to consult on matters relating to like appointment, rules of recruitment, transfer, promotion and various disciplinary action of civil servants. It reports directly to Governor of Goa. The chairman and various other members are directly appointed by Governor of Goa.  Goa became a Union Territory in 1962 the Union Public Service Commission was responsible for civil service recruitment and other service related matters. When Goa became a State of India in 1987 it became entitled to have its own Public Service Commission. The Goa Public Service Commission was set on 30 May 1988.

Eligibility for Exam: 
  • No no. of Attempts limit.
  • All posts - Below 45 Years (Post like Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Civil Aviation Officer, Principal, etc.).
  • Only Principal Post - Below 50 Years.
  • Master or Graduation in Relevant Streams.
  • Should be Indian Citizen.
  • Compulsory Language to be known Konkani/Marathi.
  • Age relaxations as per government norms, which are issue by Government Of India.
