Gujarat Public Service Commission - GPSC

The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) was formed under article 315(1) in the Constitution of India on 1st May 1960 .To select candidates for civil service jobs in the Indian state of Gujarat according to the merits based on the candidates rules for reservation at state. As per Article 316 A State Governor has the power to select member and chairman of their own state's Public Service Commission.

Elgibility for Exam
  • Minimum 20 Year and Maximum 35 Year for General Category
  • Age relaxations as per government norms which are issued by Government Of India.
  • Citizen of India, Subject of Nepal, Subject of Bhutan, A refugee from Tibet who have migrated to India for permanent settlement before 1st January 1962, A person of Indian Origin who have migrated to India for permanent settlement from (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka,Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia,Vietnam).
  • Graduation or a awaiting result of final semester exam.
  • Language to be known Gujarati.
